Livia Gnos (1977) was born in Zug and lives in Montreux. She has been interested for several years in the link between representation and abstraction, both the psychological and optical perception, and to drawings which may embody a symbol or a sign. A graduate of the Geneva School of Fine Arts (now HEAD), with exchanges at the HdK Hamburg and the Iceland Academy of Arts in Reykjavik, and the Master of Arts at ECAV Sierre, Livia Gnos has been participating since 2002 in group exhibitions in Swiss institutions and more recently in Japan.
