Camcoum (Camille Karam) is a Swiss painter born in Beirut in 1990. Self-taught, the artist discovered painting at the age of 16 following difficult events in her life. Her first exhibition in 2021 was a success and she decided to publish her work on social media. Her abstract and figurative style is spontaneous. Each achievement is the result of an impulse, a moment that proves propitious, and the desire to create comes anytime. She can paint standing, squatting, and lying down, and she gives free rein to her moods. With a marked preference for acrylic, she willingly uses other techniques and materials to fully express herself, according to the energy of the moment. Her paintings always provoke reactions and never leave you indifferent.
